what do we do

Currently every month our volunteer team hosts community walks across London. We provide food, shelter, clothing and other essentials to people experiencing homelessness

These walks aren’t about only giving items, they are about connection, dignity and letting those who feel unseen know that they aren’t and have support. But Balance Together has a wider vision where we reach more people and extend our help beyond.

OUR GOALS!

Mobile showers

Too many people in London don’t have access to basic hygiene. This severely affects health, dignity and confidence making it harder for those already facing homelessness & hardship to re enter work or education

Our current goal is to raise £40,000 to purchase a 4 Bay mobile shower unit with full operation providing free weekend hygiene access for those who need it most

Free Accessible Shelter (Long Term)

We aim to create a new system. A shelter that goes beyond a bed instead offering an employment programme and mental health support. This is to stop the cycle of dependancy and tackle the root cause of homelessness, it’s about giving people a pathway to freedom, confidence & self suffieciency. With your help we can make this dream a reality!

That’s why I started Balance Together, to create a community that supports people in hardship, provides real help and eventually builds pathways for those facing extreme difficuly to build independence.
